Modern engineering collaboration among industrial partners requires a common language describing their work in progress in an unambiguous manner, this is why dimensional tolerances on mechanical parts must be represented in a 3D standard already used by the world’s most advanced engineering projects. Mechanical engineering teachers know how difficult and un-exciting it can be to deliver courses on tolerancing. Now, Dassault Systèmes has applied interactive 3D gaming technologies to make this subject easy to teach and fun to learn. |
