Design for Manufacturing using Model Based Communication Tools  

Since model based definition seems to be on the forefront of Catia innovations, this project focuses on the communication between the 3d model based world and the machine shop.  This particular case study focused on the Howell V4 engine and Catia was used for machining simulations and NC code generation to cut down on machine shop time and money.
