The scooter project is an innovative project for two reasons : the main reason is that the scooter is powered by electric engine, and the second reason is the steering; control of the scooter is accomplished thanks to a "kneecap".
This project was born from 2D sketches by a design compagny, design of the scooter components were completed by several schools : The parts of the scooter were designed by the "Lycée Diderot" (French BTS = 2 years undergrade degree), the FEA study of the hub was realized by French engineering school - "SUPMECA", the frame was developed by an Indian engineering school, and the last step consisted of validating the entire product as well as making the streamlined body of the scooter.
Motivation:
This project was very instructive; I learned to work with schools of various levels and multiple countries. I take away a very positive feeling from this project, especially the dynamic of the collaborative work.
